Supporting Children with Disabilities

The development of young children often follows a common timeline. This training will review the typical timeline of development for young children. It will also discuss when to be concerned that a child is not following the typical timeline of development. Common development disabilities will be discussed including: Down syndrome, autism, speech and language disorders and more. Early interventions are important when a child is diagnosed with a developmental disability, and these interventions will be discussed.
