Sensory Processing Disorder

This training reviews characteristics and causes of Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD). Additionally, the types of SPD and the types of sensory input are reviewed. This training reviews how characteristics of SPD can mimic behavioral disorders and/or mental illness. Lastly, assessment and treatment options for SPD are reviewed. This training is interactive in that attendees are asked to manipulate various items for sensory input and identify characteristics of SPD and possible treatment options for people with SPD as depicted in videos.
