Kelsey has worked with children and families involved in the child welfare system in many capacities for several years. Her previous experiences include case management for child abuse and neglect cases as well as adoption recruiting in order to locate adoptive homes for youth in need of permanency. She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in both Criminal Justice and Psychology from Midland University in 2015. She began working at Omni in 2018 as a Foster Care Specialist. She also has worked in the Substitute Care Department with Omni as well. In both positions, her role was to provide support to the individuals placed in the foster and substitute care homes to maintain stability.
Kelsey transitioned to the role of Foster Care Supervisor in 2020 and now has since taken over as the Director of Foster Care Placement Services. She is also working towards earning her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health from Bellevue University.
