Safety Planning

This training will teach participants about safety planning, authoring safety plans, and the content to be included in the plan. It will discuss the importance of Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and how the functions of behavior dictate the behavioral interventions included in the plan. This training will also review how to mitigate risks on a daily basis to reduce crisis situations and how consistent interventions by staff and behavior programming relate to safety planning.
