Meeting the Unique Needs of Older Adults

Participants of this workshop will learn about the unique physical, mental, social, and spiritual needs of the aging adult population who have been diagnosed with an intellectual and/ or developmental disability. The challenges of working with this population will be discussed along with ethical and legal considerations. Guidelines for improving practice and policy will also be reviewed.
