Presented by Carl V. Tyler, Jr., MD, MSc
Through didactic lecture and case studies, attendees will learn to become more effective advocates for better primary health care. Specifically, attendees will be able to (1) describe how a primary health care visit is typically structured and how to best work within that framework; (2) summarize the ways primary care physicians are well-prepared and the ways they are ill-prepared to serve people with DD and how to bridge the gaps; and (3) provide examples of how and when to advocate for health care at the right time, in the right place, with the right person and in the right way.
This webinar meets the criteria for 1 CEU for Licensed Mental Health Practioners and a Certificate of Attendance for CEU will be forwarded to the email address entered during registration upon successful completion of the webinar and quiz.
