Omni’s Substance Use Program provides evaluations, on-going treatment in alignment with an evaluation and relapse prevention services. Services are offered to individuals, ranging from adolescents through adults, and families. The services are provided in one of the Omni offices in Omaha, Lincoln, or Beatrice or can be arranged as in-home services. The program accepts commercial insurances, Medicaid, probation vouchers, and DHHS vouchers.
A CO evaluation is a thorough clinical, strengths-based evaluation of a youth experiencing substance use and mental health symptoms.
Substance Use evaluations are performed or supervised by a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) via telehealth or in person. Substance Use evaluations are available to youth and adults through various referral means.
Outpatient therapy services are provided for youth and adults with flexible hours to accommodate most individual’s needs. Therapy can be arranged as frequently as recommended by a Substance Use evaluation at the client’s discretion. Therapy services include discharge planning and referrals to community resources for ongoing support.

Director of Foster Care Therapeutic Services
Crystal has worked with children and youth in many capacities, including at-risk and detained youth as a support specialist, as well as in mental health crisis response in Berrien County, Michigan. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services/Management in 2012 from the University of Phoenix. She began working at Omni in February 2015 as an Intensive Family Preservation Specialist, focused on behavioral modification, therapeutic skills building, and resource connectivity. She earned her Masters of Science degree in Clinical Counseling in 2016 from Bellevue University in Nebraska.
At that time, she transitioned to an Intensive Family Preservation Therapist where she implemented and guided skills building interventions for specialists and aides in support of family stability and maintenance in the community. Presently, she holds her independent practitioner licenses in Nebraska and Iowa, licensure for drug and alcohol counseling in Nebraska, and is board certified through the National Board for Certified Counselors. Currently, she is Omni’s Director of Foster Care Therapeutic Services, providing active therapeutic intervention and guidance to clinicians and specialists in assessing risk and developing intervention plans based on client and family strengths, in order to support placement stability and growth.
Shannon Sieck is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. She graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2003 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, and from the University of Nebraska-Omaha in 2007 with a Master’s in both Social Work and Public Administration. Shannon has worked in a variety of professional positions within the child welfare and developmental disability fields. Shannon has worked with children, adolescents, and adults with major mental health issues, cognitive limitations, and severe behavioral problems. Shannon started as a Residential Mental Health Specialist for Omni in 2004 and has excelled to currently providing clinical oversight and administrative supervision to the Residential Mental Health Specialists as the Clinical Director of the Seward Family Support Center, a Therapeutic Group Home for adolescents ages 14-18.
