Substitute Care Specialist for Intellectual Disabilities (Omaha)

Be a key member of a treatment team that provides support and supervision to children and adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. A Substitute Care specialist works with and supports families who open up their homes to bring a structured, less intrusive environment to people with maladaptive behaviors. You will work as a member of a treatment team that will develop and write behavior programs for the purpose of management of maladaptive behaviors. You are responsible for building rapport with, supporting, and supervising the Substitute Care Home.  Additional job duties include data collection and analysis, writing Functional Behavior Assessments, communication with schools, vocational day services, service coordination, mental health professionals, and other team members.
